Season 2, episode 23: trials and tribulations

“The two public health interventions that have had the greatest impact on the world's health are clean water and vaccines.”

—Dr. Joyce Sanchez

COVID-19 cases are dropping as more and more people get vaccinated. But not everyone is comfortable with the path to safety that we’re on. And even bigger than COVID and vaccines, these are questions about who we trust, where we get our information, and how we make decisions. Laura finds some encouraging answers about vaccines, by talking to an infectious disease specialist Dr. Joyce Sanchez, and a woman who was part of a vaccine trial.
